The Royce Aqua 22 works as a portable sludge blanket level detector and depth meter. Its hydrostatic level sensor measures from the liquid surface to the sludge-water interface across a range of 0 to 10 metres, allowing repeatable spot checks without installing a permanent monitor at every tank.

Prepare
Inspect the sensor and cable, connect the hydrostatic level sensor, power the analyser and select level mode and the required stored location.

Position
Use a safe, representative lowering position. Return to the same point whenever possible so that changes reflect the blanket rather than the location.

Lower
Lower the IP68 depth sensor steadily through the liquid. Keep the IP65 handheld analyser dry and above the tank.

Read
Use the depth response to establish the sludge-water interface position, referencing the reading to the liquid surface.

Record
Store the result against one of nine internal locations. Date and time stamping helps operators compare checks and build a traceable field record.

Rinse
After measurement, withdraw and rinse the wetted sensor in line with site procedures. Regular inspection and calibration support dependable field performance.
